Apparently, the bugs heard on the internet that PDC was planning to descend upon them in force and hi-tailed it to another beach.  There were about 20 people at Butterfly, seven of whom were from the club.  Amazing as it sounds, everyone from PDC was skunked!  Fish and Game was out on the beach, but they didn't have a lot to do.  I spoke with the officer and he said that he only measured three bugs all night.  I plan to try again this afternoon at Hendry's beach.  If you are interested in joining me, meet at the beach at 2:00.  See you there.  We will still have a "lobster boil" this evening, but it might turn into a chicken bake.
