Reminders for a few upcoming events. . .

This Saturday, May 6, is movie night at Dan Lindsay's house. The scuba documentary "Ice Island," about diving inside a glacier, will be shown. Bring movie munchies if you wish; the film will start at 7 p.m.

Directions to Dan's house:
101N to Patterson, turn right
Go past Cathedral Oaks
Right on Camino Meleno
Immediate left on Camino Cerralvo
5593 Camino Cerralvo (last one up the hill on the left)

Next week is our Santa Cruz campout, May 11-14. If you are signed up but not paid up, please contact Mark Silva asap. We need to give an accurate count to Truth Aquatics. If you're not signed up but would like to go, there's still room! Again, contact Mark Silva.

On Sunday, June 11, we will have our first dive/BBQ of the summer at Hendy's Beach. More details will be given at the next meeting and in the June newsletter.

Saturday, June 24 is our day of wreck diving on the Yukon, Ruby E., and Tower. We will be departing out of San Diego on the Lois Ann (see our May newsletter for details). We have chartered the entire boat (20 divers) and expect it to fill up fast for this trip - a bargain at only $50 for members, $60 for nonmembers. Money talks: the first ones to pay will get the spots.

If you're going and want to coordinate with other participants re: sharing rooms and/or carpooling, you can post to our Yahoo Groups site. Most PDC members will be staying at Motel 6, which is cheap and convenient to the harbor.

Note: the boat provides tanks, weights, and food. If you want to reserve Nitrox for one or more of the day's dives, the cost is $8 per tank, and you need to make your arrangements directly with the folks at the Lois Ann ahead of time (contact info and more details at www.loisann.com).

We hope to see you at one or more of these events!
