Like Ted, I have a pocket-sized Canon, which I bought three years ago; I don't have it in front of me, but it's probably in the same series as his, 5-megapixels and called "Digital Elph." I bought a dedicated housing for it at Samy's, which has worked very well. What you should know is that the built-in flash for the camera is not useful, as it produces lots of backscatter in our waters, so you will want to use available light if you want something that will fit in your BC pocket. In practice this means that the camera is most useful in fairly shallow situations, where you have good light; I also got good pictures in Bermuda, where the water is clearer, but again the best pictures were in 20 to 40 feet. With available light, the shutter speeds are slow.
I now have a Reefmaster flash for the camera that works like a slave unit; the camera's flash is bounced up to the strobe, which then fires. This works well, but with the flash it doesn't fit into the BC pocket.

Hi everyone,
I need to buy a digital camera and underwater housing that can fit into a BC pocket, this is for work, so my boss wants the underwater housing to be that thin. Can anyone recommend a good camera and housing?
Thanks,
Yvette
