Desole pour le retard mais une bonne nouvelle tout de meme - le match de demain sera bien retransmis en direct demain au Nevada Smiths a 13:00. Autre bonne nouvelle, on aura la grande salle a nous avec grand ecran et audio. Mais pour la premiere fois, nous n'allons pas regarder le match sur TV5 ni sur Setanta Sports ....... mais sur Abu Dhabi Sports Channel (la raison pour laquelle je n'ai que eu confirmation aujourd'hui). Vous verrez ci-dessous le lien de la chaine (bon courage pour la lecture), donc vous comprendrez bien pourquoi cela a pris du temps pour confirmer (un probleme en terme de communication - c'est le moins que je puisse dire). Bien evidemment les presentateurs ne parleront ni en francais et ni en anglais, donc si quelqu'un parle l'arabe on aurait peut-etre besoin de votre aide :).

Autre nouvelle - le club de supporters d'Arsenal a NY nous a contacte car ils veulent organiser un match de foot avec nous. Pas de date concrete pour le moment mais ce sera ou le samedi 6 Juin ou dimanche 7 juin. Ce sera NYC Newcastle et NYC Arsenal contre NYC Chelsea et nous (si on arrive a avoir assez de monde). Donc si certains d'entre vous seraient interesses, let me know car ce serait sympa. Je pensais aussi a organise un match annuel contre nos amis marseillais style le week-end avant le classico - qu'en pensez vous?

Et finallement, notre club va etre le sujet d'un article dans le magazine But! Paris la semaine prochaine - donc que de bonnes nouvelles. Je vous enverrai en format pdf l'article des qu'il est publie.

J'espere vous voir nombreux demain pour un match qui est sans doute un des plus importants de l'histoire du club. Allez Paris

Dear Supporters,

Apologies for the long delay but nevertheless I have some good news for you - tomorrow's game will be shown live at Nevada Smiths at 1:00 p.m.. Other good news is that we will have the main floor to ourselves with the big screen and audio. For the first time we will not be watching the game on TV5 nor on Setanta Sports.... but on Abu Dhabi Sports Channel (the reason why it took so long to confirm the schedule). You will find below the link to the channel (good luck reading), which helps to explain the language barrier I encountered even after having called them numerous times. Obviously the commentators will not be speaking in either French or English, so if anyone of you speaks Arabic, we might need your help...jk

Two other updates: 1) The Arsenal supporters club in NY contacted me as they would like to see if anyone in the group would want to play a game either on June 6th or June 7th. As of now it would be NYC Arsenal and NYC Newcastle supporters vs. NYC Chelsea and us (if we can bring enough players to play). So if some of you may be interested in playing, let me know asap so we can confirm w/ them. With that idea in mind, I was also thinking of organizing an annual game against our Marseille friends - let me know what you think of the idea?

2) Our club will be the focus of an article in the coming issue of But! Paris. I will make sure to send you guys a pdf of the article once it's published.
