Hi Everyone:

As you may or may not know, the 2005 Pan American race is going to
held in Argentina. Since only a few riders will be invited to that
ride, the United States will be hosting the FEI North American
Championship in October of 2005, to take place of the Pan Am. If you
are interested in nominating your horse, in the next PNER newsletter
there will be an article setting out the criteria that you and your
horse must meet. Michele Rouch and I are working on the nominations
packets now, and they will be available after the first of the year.

If you don't think you will be nominating, please think about
volunteering to serve on the Pac North Section Committee. We are
especially hopeful that some of the riders who competed at the Mt.
Adams Pan Am might consider volunteering, but prior international
experience is NOT required. The time committment will be fairly
minimal. Please contact me privately if you might be interested. I
can let you give you more information and you can then give it more
thought.
