I'll see if I can take my painful muscles into the library and update the carpooling info.

Sure, you're probably thinking why don't I just go home or to 87 myself?  Well, I'd hate to get the kids and wife all wound up before their nap time.  Plus, I have no idea how soon I'll finish and get out of the city (depending on what sidewalk I end up parking tomorrow morning, etc.).

But the marathon does start at 7 a.m.

7a .m.!  (That means I have to leave no later than 6:30 and pray for a close sidewalk to park on, or face the harsh realty of doing math at all the milesplits).

Shit - on-on beddie bye!

I chose Mr.s G's because of the direction we want to travel (anyone driving north on 1 has a horribly long round-about to Micahel's since they restructured the highway there; anyone going south on 1 has to turn around at Michael's and go by Mr's G's anyway).  Also, if we take 295 or the backroads, we need to cross Mr's G's path anyway.

Any takers?

Problem is I won't be able to check Email from the race.  I hope someone can swing by there.

Hey Gang:

Yes, I will send the directions out at my leisure for this extremely leisurely Hash. This hash will actually be so leisurely you won’t even believe it. We will take a nice leisurely stroll around the eastern section of the Assunpink Wildlife Management Area. I will try to even throw in a very leisurely Chicken/Eagle split (updates will follow at the start). We will commence our leisurely stroll at the usual leisurely time of 2:30 PM.

We will begin this leisurely journey approximately 1.7 miles east of interchange 11 on Rte. I-195 at the “Ye Olde Robbins Burial Ground” on Rte. 524 in Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County. This is an excellent location as most of you from the west can get there, at your leisure, by taking I-195 east to exit 11. Bear left at the fork on the exit ramp and then make a left at the end of the exit. Go about 3 tenths of a mile to the first stop sign and make a leisurely right on Rte. 524 east. Then go about 1.7 miles on Rte. 524 east and look for a stone monument on your left that says “Ye Olde Robbins Burial Ground” (you will pass East Branch Road on your left at 1.6 miles and the monument is another tenth of a mile). Park on the side of the road near the monument and look for my tan Nissan Altima.

For any of you that oppose highways and want to take a more leisurely, back roads, route out of Princeton and/or Lawrenceville: take 571 east (from P’town) or Rte. 33 east (from L’ville) to 526 east. Take 526 east to Allentown and when you hit the stop sign in Allentown, make a left on Main St (539 north). Go about a mile on Main Street (539 north) and over Rte. 195. Just after 195 will be Rte. 524 on your right. Make the right on Rte. 524 east and travel about 4.9 miles on 524 east to the “Ye Olde Robbins Burial Ground” monument.

Here is a link to the start: http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3333308

Feel free to give me a buzz if you are lost: 609-752-1832.

Of course next up is Sunday, 11/22.  Eurotrash, if it suits you, please send directions at your leisure.

Date:  11/15/9 (a prime month)

Hare:  WetUpToHerThighs (on this her Virginal Set, she was indeed defloured)

Hounds:  2 virgins, Itemized Seduction, NotSuitableforHorses, Dancing Fool, CliffDiver, Comfort, Pyroman, Speed Bumps, MaxtheWorriedDog, HareInMyZipper, HeyYoPaully, LittleWilly, DelicatePhyche, and Eurotrash.

(N.B.  if you don't count canine, that's a prime # of hounds...now wait a malamute!)

Virgins:  Kneel and Katie

Weather:  Partly sunny, slight breeze, 61 F degrees (a prime #)

Venue:  Tyler State Park in Bucks Co., PA (ask Dancin Fool what happened here on his birthday many MOONS ago)

Trail:  Prime aerially in Tyler Park commencing from the larger lot near the Earth Center sign.  You'll have to ask one of the dirty dozen to venture on marks more about the flour trail, as I was with the hare from the start parking lot, on marks to the secondary parking lot (where I closed HIMZ passenger door which was wide open, actually I didn't do that until another 20 minutes of being lost!), anyway, the hare said a beer check was over this way and the whole clan must have gone the wrong way.  So I went to find them, thinking I can't miss the beer check (the beer was in her backpack!)  But alas, I was hopelessly in something - usually dead leaves.  I asked innocent bywalkers if they seen white powder and screaming people, but they always said no.

Time:  00:37 priminutes for most I was told, at least 01:11 for me.

Despite Cliff Diver's efforts to name the virgins, they rename Just Kneel and Just Katie, as they did nothing to deserve such dubbing (unless you count their being within eye/earshot of Cliffy after the hash...but we're all guilty of that I suspect).  Besides, only he sang to them, and he was off key (I'm one to talk, well at least off kilter. . . .but wait another malamute, I liek to hash in and out of a kilt myself.

Descent beer, but also some that tasted primoidial.

The hash will begin when the 87 caravan arrives at the start.

The 87 caravan departs from 87 at 2:10.  So the on-on will likely be closer to 2:45ish

After doing the Philly marathon, I'll be ready for a little relaxation, so a leisurely stroll may help move my lactic acid.

That's what I get for not running with the pack and not writing all the names down - or maybe it was the special brew I had a taste of that made me forget you and your four-legged friends.  It sure was Great Sex on that beer bottle though!

Oh well, we no longer have a prime # of hounds - but we have a prime # of hounds if you add the canine variety.

Whoops - wrong again, I forgot Mack (HIMZ's Mom's-In-Law Dog)!

The hash was prime nonetheless.

Hey Gang:

Yes, I will send the directions out at my leisure for this extremely leisurely Hash. This hash will actually be so leisurely you wont even believe it.

I-195 at the Ye Olde Robbins Burial Ground on Rte. 524 east and look for a stone monument on your left that says Ye Olde Robbins Burial Ground (you will pass East Branch Road on your left at 1.6 miles and the monument is another tenth of a mile). Park on the side of the road near the monument and look for my tan Nissan Altima.

For any of you that oppose highways and want to take a more leisurely, back roads, route out of Princeton and/or Lawrenceville: take 571 east (from Ptown) or Rte. 33 east (from Lville) to 526 east. Take 526 east to Allentown and when you hit the stop sign in Allentown, make a left on Main St (539 north). Go about a mile on Main Street (539 north) and over Rte. 195. Just after 195 will be Rte. 524 on your right. Make the right on Rte. 524 east and travel about 4.9 miles on 524 east to the Ye Olde Robbins Burial Ground monument.

Next up:  Sunday 11/20:  Eurotrash sets #1290 - the Post Philly Marathong at Assinpink

Folks,

FYI, you can take No 1 Trail into Tyler from 332, probably easier and more
clear to get there from that park entrance. There should be a sign for
the Earth Center at that entrance, which is the white building on the
other side of the parking lot.

Is anyone going to 87?

I'd be interested in carpooling but I was trying to avoid going to 87.

Zak (BubbleBoy) just came home from the hospital (non-influenza pneumonia) so I wanted to minimize my time away to the extent practical.

Actually, the Google directions supplied by Wet Up To Her Thighs practically goes right by my house.  If the 87 gang takes 206 to 95, I can meet you right before the ramp to 95 S.

Or, if you go another way, we can figure something out.

Actually, the Google directions supplied by Wet Up To Her Thighs practically goes right by my house.  If the 87 gang takes 206 to 95, I can meet you right before the ramp to 95 S.

Or, if you go another way, we can figure something out.

That’s going to be some ride over to the Hash. You guys may not get there until 3:00.

Paully, I don’t think his wife will want to hear that. I don’t think yours would want to as well.

I got a call from Dancin’ Fool this AM; he was looking for directions to the Hash. We may see him out on trail this afternoon.

I guess you're just "crafty" - per the article.

You should complain and tell them your choice, so the author can mark your beer down as being drunk by the belligerent (or should we say berrigerent?)

Paulie’s Angels

Brrrrriiiiinggg!

“Hello Angels”

“Hello Paully” said the three hasherettes in unison (oh, so seductively).

“I have another assignment for you” came the voice from the other end, “Pyro… er, I mean Bosley will fill you in.”

“OK Paully” said the hasherettes.

“OK Angels, the hash today was almost lost to the Rumson Hashathon, it’s your job to save it by running through the Institute Woods” explained Pyro… er, Bosley.

“That sounds easy” declared Bumps… er ,Sabrina.

“Yea even I can do that” said Comf… Kelly.

“Not so fast, Angels, this trail was set by Hey Yo! Paully”

“WOW!” exclaimed WUTHT… er, Jill.

“And, Angels, you’re every move will be followed by Eurotrash, the evil guy in every episode.”

The reminder of the hash… er episode was just like every other of “Paully’s Angles”. The Women managed to find the On In, the evil Eurotrash spent 2 hours lost in Institute Woods, failing to find the On In and Bosely failed to score.

Overall not a bad impromptu hash by the new GM, the female to male ratio would have made the Grand Dominatrix run back to B-U-T-iful Bucks county. Max had fun and declared the cupcakes sublime. All enjoyed the winter Sarnac mix.

Speaking of the area around Princeton Battlefield, any of you read the article in the Trenton Times last week regarding the Princeton Theological Seminary (PTS)? They own the land on the other side of the canal (in West Windsor) from the Battlefield and the Institute For Advanced Study Woods.

West Windsor approved PTS plan to build 204 units of campus housing (three 3-story apartment buildings), a Rec. Center with a pool, a soccer field, and market rate and affordable housing. They are going to lease the land to a developer to build the market rate and affordable housing in order to pay for the campus housing, rec. center, and pool. In the process, 8 acres of trees will be clear cut to make way for the rec. center and soccer field. No doubt the view from the canal will be impacted. According to the article there is also a pair of Bald Eagles that live in the area and use these woods for foraging. The DEP approved the plan because it is  just outside of the Bald Eagle foraging area on the DEPs map (The Landscape Plan). The DEP doesnt seem to recognize that animals travel to look for food and dont stay in one spot like us humans.

The Trenton gang will not be hash-a-thonging, either, but would be up for something local. Hey Yo, can I propose a Battlefield start so as to run through the woods instead of town? I'll contribute to the beer supply.

on on!
