Dana and I took them over to the pool and planted them today, after weeding that area and pulling the vines off the fence as part of the clean-up morning. I also have a nearly endless supply of the orange spreading daylilies in a neighbor's yard, I'm sure she'd be thrilled to donate them when the prepped area gets expanded along the fence.
Everyone did a great job this morning, the grounds were looking trimmed and neat when we left!

Nicole, we would love them for the pool. We are placing daylilies along the wooden fence: for beauty and a weed-free no mow strip.
I will not be at the workday but there this evening and later than day. Can you call me off list to chat about this?
Thanks.

I've dug several clumps of Stella d'Oro (reblooming deep yellow/gold) daylilies out of my yard to make way for others of different colors.
If I'm not able to give them away in town, is there any interest in having them either planted at the pool or brought to the pool for other gardeners? I'm coming tomorrow morning for the workday, so I'd be happy to bring any then if people think they'd be welcome. (I'm also happy to bring a shovel and plant them in a designated spot on the grounds.) Or, if you live nearby and would like them for yourselves, please feel free to stop by my house (6512 40th Avenue, north of the East-West / Adelphi intersection in U.P.); they're under the tree in the right-of-way.
