I plan to pick up some supplies on my way home tonight, hoping that they're not sold out. But, if folks can do their own decorating at home with whatever crafts they have, do it! You can always "add on" at the pool (While supplies last, as the TV pitchmen might say).
Donations in the form of streamers, crepe paper, et al, are, of course, appreciated!
Happy 3rd!

Is there going to be bike decorating supplies on hand? This has always been a staple for the fourth of July that all the kids look forward to.
Thanks

Here are the latest updates in our planning effort for tomorrow:
1. Ellen is planning to host the diving treasure hunt at 5 p.m.
2. Rachel is planning to host the nail salon starting at 2 p.m. (is that right Rachel?)
3. Susan Gunn, henceforth known as Fourth of July Angel, has made a Target run AND a Value Village run and purchased supplies for various activities, including:
- Bead kit for making jewelry - water balloons - flag making supplies (poster board, markers, crayons, stickers) - temporary tattoos of all varieties - sidewalk chalk - big spoons (for the egg race)
Susan even found awesome prizes, like swimming trophies with American flag and eagle adornments!
So, now what we could really use is a few good grownup poolios to DO the bead necklaces, temporary tattoos, wall or sidewalk chalk drawing, face painting, etc. with the kids. And a few of our most energetic members to fill the water
balloons and lead the races!
Hope to hear back from some more of you soon & thanks!
Cynthia
