Hello all,
I'm thinking about setting up a webcam at Rooster Rock.
I helped setup the iWindsurf sensor there, so I know the OR parks guys and have
their permission to add a camera.
The biggest problem is funding.
A good outdoor camera, telephoto lens, wiring, enclosure, etc runs $1415 !!!
(This is for a high-quality, ruggedized, 1 mega-pixel netcam).

So here's my proposal:
- I'll pony up the first $215
- I'll do the install
- I already have the website setup to host it: www.pdxgreen.com/RoosterCam.aspx

What I need from the community is 60 folks willing to pony up $20 each to make
up the balance of the funding. Please send me a PM if you'd be willing to
support this project (and how much you'd be willing to donate). If there's
enough support, I'll setup an easy way to make a donation on the RoosterCam
page.
