My friend and I are planning on building two PDRacers here in the near
future, the first sometime immediately after easter weekend, the
second in late may when I come back home from school in arlington, and
in time for either the (tenative) May 29th (JFK Birthday), June 14th
(flag day) or 21st (summer solstice) regattas.

Sounds like there's one boat currently in the DFW area, the Mad
Mallard, or is there two? We live in N. Plano so Lake Lewisville
would likely be our "home lake", with Lake Ray Hubbard being a close
second.

On an unrelated subject, does anyone have some rough cost estimates on
what it cost them to build & waterproof (housepaint) their hull? I'm
guessing roughly $70 including incidentals. Rudder, dagger board &
Rigging designs vary greatly, so it's hard to figure out an average
for that.
