Edge Composites uses a new carbon manufacturing technique that creates a component's holes (for valve, spoke, brake bolt) as part of the molding process.  This means Edge Composites eliminates steps 2), 3), and 4) of the process currently used by other carbon rim and fork manufacturers:

1.      Mold the component.
2.      Bond pieces of the component (like dropouts and fork blades)
3.      Drill spoke, valve, and/or brake bolt holes.
4.      Reinforce the drilled holes with epoxy.

The result of Edge Composites' new process is a line of rims and forks and other components that are lighter, stiffer, and stronger than any other rims or forks you can get.  There are NO rider weight limits on any Edge products.

Visit weightweenies.com and use their search engine.  Edge Composites products are meeting virtually universal approval among a very picky group of bike owners.
