I haven't been following threads too closely lately but I use a handlebar mount. If you worry about it shaking loose, stop in a grocery store and nab some produce bands...they work really well to secure the bottles.
Yeah, I got one of those like the Tri-geeks use. It's made by Profile design. One thing I noticed is that the plastic cages that come with the unit don't grip waterbottles tight enough, and on bumpy roads I lost my bottles. I switched the cages to solve the problem.

Have you tried http://americancyclery.com/. They are in your area and seem to
carry
some sweet frames in your size.

Guys I am asking for help.
It has been almost a month and I can not find a decent steel track frame
anywhere. I have
searched the web, and around where I live but to no avail. I live near SF and
thought that
finding a nice steel 58cm track frame wouldn't be to hard.
I am trying to avoid buying a new frame and want something older.
If anyone can help me out let me know.
Clayton
Another option would be those seatpost mounted bottle
holders that triathletes use, they don't look too bad.

It rained during the messenger race, and a bunch of
people ate it, from what I heard. I think it was
almost dry for the pros though.
I also heard Nothstein crashed into a barrier or
something, went down pretty hard. Anyone see this?

Yeah, camelbak all the way. They make really slim
ones, that you can barely tell are there. If you're
riding any distance you can carry a lot of water as
well. Definitely a better choice for me than rigging
up some ghetto shit on one of my track frames.

I was there. It rained in the AM for the juniors/women/amateur races, it was
letting up for the messenger challenge, and by the time the
pro race started it was clear. The two man break held a lead of about 15 seconds
for a while but only lasted a few laps in the middle of the
race; by the end Saunders (one of the two in the break) was like a lap behind
the peloton. It wasn't too exciting towards the end either; the
group was basically pretty tight with nobody having a significant advantage. I
don't even remember the name of the guy who won.
The big disappointment though was that CLIF bar did not sponsor the race this
year. Last year they did, and had free samples about,
several boxes of which were left at the end of the event. There was also a
supply of All Sport sports drink, which although not as tasty as
CLIF bars, was also free. My buddies and I made off with nearly $300 worth of
free food. This year, however, there was no such bounty to
be claimed. :(

Camelback, good idea! I forgot, I do that too, like for 60+ mile
rides with no stores in sight!

i still have no idea how you do that, peter. youre a freak of nature! =P
but yea, i reccommend a lightweight aero camelback for long rides on a
trackbike.

Hope Shelly gets well SOON! That's too long for such a nice person to be sick.
Keep us
posted. I was talking to Moss Fri. night and he said all you needed was a stem.
Some kid
by the name of Zyp was riding an IRO built up at Trackstar. He had on the
coolest
threadless black stem. You should check em out when Shelly gets better.
