I am a 40 yr old guy who did some road races in the 80's. I got a pre-made
fixed gear this
summer. Its been great. It is an alpha from Frankinstein in Philly. It is
nothing special,
but it was ready to go pretty much out of the box. (worth almost what I paid,
not a great
deal, but it works) In any case, I am preparing to convert a 70's era steel
frame fuji bike
this winter. My question gets down to the wheels. It has the big old 27" steel
wheels.
Should I try to 1. redish and use what is there, 2. get new 27", or 3. convert
to 700c
wheels.
It sounds as though there has been a call to get the group active and so here is
my
contribution.
thanks for the help.
