I'm Paul, live in Durham, NC. I'm an absolute fixie newb.
I just picked up a Langster recently after buying a series of old road bikes with the intention of converting them and never getting round to it.
I've slapped on a fixie cog onto the flip-flop hub and am riding fixie now. I've left the brakes on, and like using them. I like to hit the local bike trail and ride it on there between my pad and downtown.
I did attend one alley-cat, but at the time I was riding a MTB.
