Hey Group,

Just saying hello and checking out the group. I just bought an alpha mercury
w/flip flop
hub from a shop in Philly. I wanted to convert an old steel bike, but didn't
have the time.
I like the Langster, but it seemed too corporate, so I got the alpha and hope
to get it
moving and upgrade some components and lighten it up a bit. I wanted the
flip flop since I have not ridden a fixie. I used to race road bikes 25 years
ago so I thought
that this would be a good way to get back into it. ( I wish I had the old bike
now.) Anyhow,
any experience with the alpha?
I am now a little stressed that I made a bad choice, but I thought I would throw
it out here.
I sorta wish I had found the group and asked the question sooner.
