 In -15c weather, I hopped on my fixie to head home when CRACK goes the rear hub. It's a campy pista, high flange and an entire section between two spoke holes cracked off..

So I gotta find me a new hub..   I think I am going to ditch the fixie for the winter. *sigh* I can handle riding in the cold and the wet but the poor bike is taking a massive beating because of the salt my city drops on the roads.. daily.  

So I think this spring I'll pick myself up some Phil Woods. It'll be good training to ride to work on those tanks.
