Re: [Ohio_Road_Racing_Officials] Re: Mid Ohio Racing
Your sticky point may be that there is a charge for temporary memberships.
If your goal is to get new members it might pay to offer the 90 day memberships at no charge in an effort to get people to see our side of the club. The $25.00
is halfway to a full membership and falls back into the having to pay before I find out
if I like it category. My humble ( he,he) opinion is that the main sticking point is getting them out there. Give them the temporary membership and let us work them over and set the hook.
My $.02

Larry,
There will probably be members and non members in the group. I have a few people interested and none of them are members. It would be hard to split up in two groups. I'm sure if anyone is interested they will join anyway. Dave did tell me that he would get as close as safely possible. You might want to contact Dave or Tonya if you have more questions.

Randy,
If the poeple on the tour are SCCA members (solo drivers), why not give them hot passes instead of cold, so they can get next to the action?

Dave Wyatt and Tonya Smith will be giving a walk through of all of the specialties starting at registration at 10:00 Saturday, June 2nd. It is free, but you must register before the event and that can be done by emailing Tonya at tsmith4647@gmail.com. You can just show up the day of the walk through but there will be a $10 charge. > > When you sign in, you will receive a cold pass. If you are interested
you can get a temporary SCCA membership for $25, good for 90 days and you will also be able to get into the hot areas. > > Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served at lunch, but you are asked to bring along a side dish for the pot luck lunch. > > Rich, I will pass on to Dave via phone about ES.
