Hello all,

It has been quiet here for a while. Since a few flags are starting to
fly I hope to jump start this again. I added a new photo to the home
page from the first race that I worked at 12 Hours of Sebring this
year. That was a very wet finish of the Star Mazda race on a track
that refused to drain.

This past weekend was PCA Porsche race at Mid-Ohio. As always this is
one of the most fun weekends of the year in competition and party at
Buck's. I know that we had a Lake Erie school that weekend and had at
least 2 students. I didn't get the exact number. During my off
sessions I decided go out recruiting. I managed to pick up one new
starter and found several Porsche club people interested possibly
doing more at Mid Ohio. I'm going to figure out a way to get an
audience, so that I can tell them more about what we do. I also want
to try to make contact with other car clubs and do the same.

The next race coming up for me is the OVR National at Mid Ohio. I
heard that there might be someone taking people around to show what
all of the specialties do. If anyone knows who is in charge of this
let me know. I have another new potential official who has not worked
before.
