I must have had a momentary lapse in memory and forgotten that there are
ladies (and at least one loose woman, or so I've heard) present on this
list. Please excuse the scatalogical humor from the previous post. I hope it
didn't offend any of your female sensibilities.
As for you other guys, I couldn't really give a crap.

I was wondering if u guys could play a half an hour earlier on
Tuesdays(around 5.00 0r 5.15.).
Tuesday's game usually kicks off around 6.00 p.m.
if we could play early, we will be having better light ,warmer weather and i
personaly will get extra half an hour of frisbee before my 6.30 class.
i suggested this to several players on Thursday and saturday and many
expressed their willingness.
if u r free around 5.00 pm, please show up early so that we could have a
game at least by 5.30.
if u have any comments please bring them forward
Thanks

NOTICE OF REVOCATION OF INDEPENDENCE
To the citizens of the United States of America,
In the light of your failure to elect a President of the USA and thus to
govern yourselves, we hereby give notice of the revocation of your
independence, effective today.
Her Sovereign Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will resume monarchial duties over
all states, commonwealths and other territories. Except Utah, which she
does not fancy. Your new prime minister (The rt. hon. Tony Blair, MP for
the 97.85% of you who have until now been unaware that there is a world
outside your borders) will appoint a minister for America without the need
for further elections. Congress and the Senate will be disbanded. A
questionnaire will be circulated next year to determine whether any of you
noticed.
To aid in the transition to a British Crown Dependency, the following
rules are introduced with immediate effect:
1. You should look up "revocation" in the Oxford English Dictionary. Then
look up "aluminium". Check the pronunciation guide. You will be amazed at
just how wrongly you have been pronouncing it. Generally, you should raise
your vocabulary to acceptable levels. Look up "vocabulary". Using the same
twenty seven words interspersed with filler noises such as "like" and "you
know" is an unacceptable and inefficient form of communication. Look up
"interspersed".
2. There is no such thing as "US English". We will let Microsoft know on
your behalf.
3. You should learn to distinguish the English and Australian accents. It
really isn't that hard.
4. Hollywood will be required occasionally to cast English actors as the
good guys.
5. You should relearn your original national anthem, "God Save The Queen"
but only after fully carrying out task 1. We would not want you to get
confused and give up half way through.
6. You should stop playing American "football". There is only one kind of
football. What you refer to as American "football" is not a very good game.
The 2.15% of you who are aware that there is a world outside your borders
may have noticed that no one else plays "American" football. You will no
longer be allowed to play it, and should instead play proper football.
Initially, it would be best if you played with the girls. It is a difficult
game. Those of you brave enough will, in time, be allowed to play rugby
(which is similar to American "football", but does not involve stopping for
a rest every twenty seconds or wearing full kevlar body armour like
nancies). We
are hoping to get together at least a US rugby sevens side by 2005.
7. You should declare war on Quebec and France, using nuclear weapons if
they give you any merde. The 98.85% of you who were not aware that there is
a world outside your borders should count yourselves lucky. The Russians
have never been the bad guys. "Merde" is French for "shit".
8. July 4th is no longer a public holiday. November 8th will be a new
national holiday, but only in England. It will be called "Indecisive Day".
9. All American cars are hereby banned. They are crap and it is for your
own good. When we show you German cars, you will understand what we mean.
10. Please tell us who killed JFK. It's been driving us crazy.
Thank you for your cooperation.

I won't be able to make it tonight for frisbee due to a job interview in
Dallas. Since I require at least four hours of frisbee per week to function
properly, I propose we have another game on Saturday at 10AM. Let anyone
know who is not on this list about the Saturday time. Just remember, when
you attend on Saturday, not only will you be helping an addict, but making
the world a better place for us all.

I am probably the last one to know about this web site, but just in case
there is someone out there who is less informed than I...(Is that
possible?)Check this web site out! This is absolutely the funniest site I
have seen thus far.

Yeah, those cards are nifty. The sticker is pretty nice, too. I wonder what
other kinds of official Ultimate Players Association memorabilia are
availible. A set of UPA underoos would be smooth. Or perhaps an engraved
rachet set.
Did you guys get any snow over there? We had about an inch on the ground
this morning.

Due to low turnout, poor lighting and field conditions, not to mention
recounting Florida's votes, last Thursday night frisbee was a bust.
Therefore, in order to meet our weekly quota of frisbee, an emergency
frisbee time has been declared for this Saturday, November 11, 2000 at 10:00
AM CST. In honor of the election, we will be playing one game to 270
points, with the number of points for each touchdown determined by the
receiver's number of electors in their home state.
See you there.

Wow, Oktober has finally arrived. It has come just in time, because my
toilet has been running, not to mention I have been fantasizing about
cookies, dessert, popcorn, pasta and of course discussing family sexuality
and presciption drugs while rollerskating. Now if I only had a kid to
communicate this with..., unfortunately she got stuck in the dryer vent.
This message was brought to you by the National Dryer Vent Saftey Council.
Make sure to remove your lint after every drying cycle.

I would like there to be a Saturday 10:00, but it sounds if everyone will be
out of town.
As for Fayetteville, I am sure we can find a few people for a small road
trip. We should start getting better at these tourneys if we keep at them.
What I am interested in is if we will have a tuesday game? Anyone up for it.
And by the way, give me an idea if anyone is interested in going to Norman
either tuesday, thursday, or sunday night. I would like to get a couple of
practice games between us and the Norman squad.
Thanks,
Joe

This Saturday, 9/23/2000, at 10 a.m., we're playing disc up on the intramural
feilds. All are welcome.
This Sunday we're playing on the Library lawn in a shadowy tournament run by my
sisters in phi gamma beta that is supposed to somehow support girls in Canada.
The Pete Simpson team "Green Eggs and Sperm," is playing to raise biology
awareness and already has seven fellers. The Craig Pyeatt team, whose name I

Does anyone have a preference for dark colors? I'm sure most of us will bring several shirts to change into, but if anyone wants to throw out a "preferred color" then we might look more like a team. I would suggest orange :)

Hey folks,
I tried to send a message earlier, but I think I screwed up and sent it
to just Brandon. Boy, is my face red.
What is the general plan for lodging for the tournament? Dave may have
already given you guys this info, so sorry if it's a repeat. Our parents say
they some bed and couch space at their house. We also may have some more
room at our brother's old place. He moved out of town a few weeks ago, but
still has the house. It's pretty much empty, and we'd need to make sure that
the electricity and water haven't been shut off. If it's availible, it could
probably sleep a few dozen people. You guys would have to bring your own
sleeping bags and pillows or whatever, and there aren't any luxurious perks
like breakfast or tv or soap in the house, but at least it'd be a free roof
over our heads.
See you tomorrow,
Peter
PS. By the way, what is our team name? Are we still using PON, or has that
been retired?

The Fall 2000 West Plains/Central Region Sectional tournament is coming
up one week from Saturday (September 16&17). This will be a two-day
tournament, with a range teams. You should plan on 4 games Saturday,
with 2-3 more on Sunday. Each game lasts about 1.5 hours (usually
played first one to 13 points). As you might guess, this means about 6
hours of playing time on saturday, with about 4-5 more on sunday. This
means that we can use all the players we can get.
Right now, we have 13 on the list. We still need to have Jeff and
Peter Klein confirm that they are going (this would give us 15). Do
Casey and/or Namal plan on playing? We need to find out from them as
well. There might or might not be a women's tournament at the same time
and place. If this falls through, we should consider having a few of
the interested women on our team as well. There should be more than
enough playing time for everybody.
We should also start planning rides/places to stay. I will be
driving down Saturday morning (captains meeting is 8:15 am, anybody else
interested in attending?), and will have space for 2 others. There will
be a party in Tulsa on Saturday night for those planning on staying in
town overnight. Games on Saturday will start about 9 am, so plan on

will be coming soon.

To those in need,
Do you find yourself saying, "Dude, I wish we was playin' more disc"? If you
do, then you're not alone. One plan to remedy this growing crisis is to play on
Monday's at 6:30 on the intramural fields. The famous scholar Jeff Withey has
noted that some of our games have been a bit lax, so we plan to make the Monday
games more competitive as well.
If anybody wants to play on any other day or time, just say so. There are
probably enough addicts to get a game whenever. I know I can't say no.
Rev. Wes
EGroupies,
Most people on this list probably already know it, but for repetition's sake, we
are practicing/playing ultimate disc, or as the Whamo Corporation would have us
call it, Ultimate Frisbee, at 10 A.M. this Saturday 9/2/2000 at the intramural
feilds.
Sincerely,
Shaft
