Bids are now being accepted for Just Plain Nasty in
Norman Oklahoma.
If you came last fall you know that the OU intramural
fields are
arguably the best fields in this part of the country.
They will be
lined and are so good, our football team practices
there from time to
time. The date is Oct. 15-16.

As always, there will be more "tournament food" than
you will need. We
will have fruit, bagels, and water. Each team will
receive a new game
disc. There will be a party with a live band, but I
am not sure if it
will be at a bar or a house party. We have room for
20 open teams and
10 women's teams. Norman is a great place to come to
a tournament
because interstates 35, 40 and 44 all run within 25
minutes of the
fields. There will be a lot of free housing
available, and it will be
given to those who ask first. The cost is $180.

This is will probably
be a upa sanctioned event, but considering it is just
after club season,
we shouldn't have to sign many new people up. We will
have a trainer on hand for injuries.

Also since it is just after club season many of you
will be focusing on your college team. OU will have
two college teams playing, and I don't know if it will
be split squads or a/b. Regardless, bring your
college teams out and we can all get a look at each
other.

week.

Last year we had to turn away a few teams, so I will
just take the first 20 teams that send me a check, and
if less than 20 teams send me checks, the teams that
told me that they were coming first will be accepted.
