Brews & Bruises looks like a lot of fun. I won't be able to make it
due to another photo shoot, but if any of y'all are interested, you
can post here and organize a carpool to make it more
affordable/enjoyable. =)

Speaking of enjoyable, last night's field at Washington Park turned
out to be pretty good! Flat and smooth and not too hard despite the
dead color. =) I'd definitely be up for playing there as an alternate
field to the OUHSC field as long as it's unavailable. Played 5 on 5, 5
on 4, and 4 on 4 most of the afternoon and enjoyed the wonderful weather.

I think they're still going to be playing football on the OUHSC field.
(Probably until Thanksgiving.) Do y'all want to just meet at the
Washington Park football field first? If there's some problem there,
we could jaunt back down to Woodson Park. What do y'all think? Don't
want to all meet at different places on Sunday... If I can, I'll try
to swing by the OUHSC field to get a better idea from them as to when
the flag football league will be over.

Had a great time last night - 6v6. Going to really miss weeknight
ultimate with the time-change taking place this weekend. Until next
Spring, Wednesday night pickup will not be happening.

Looking ahead to future Sundays... Sounds like the OUHSC fields may be
open again on Sundays. It's been suggested that we meet at the regular
OUHSC field first and if there's something going on, we'll just all
jump on the highway and be at the Woodson Park field in 5 or 6
minutes. (Is the Woodson Park field any better than the Chesapeake
Energy field?)

Mark and Todd and possibly others are looking into prices to play
indoors at some local indoor soccer arenas. Getting sponsors may be a
good option... We could make up more T-shirts and it could offset or
cover the cost of the arena. If we play indoors, it would probably be
January - February.

Hope to see you Sunday at NE 10th and Stonewall... and hopefully it
will be free for us to use again!

Hey, all, just wanted to let you know that in an effort to stop people
from crashing our site and spamming the message board, I've set up the
site to moderate new users. (Remember Cindyliwaiting? =)

Once we determine that you're a legitimate member, the moderation is
removed. The only member still being moderated is zed0705. (Still not
sure who that is despite sending him/her an email once already.)

Anyway, that's the scoop. We've had a few new members join (finally,
KT!) and I thought they might like to know why they were moderated on
their first message post.
