FS: Like new 56cm Tommasini Sintesi frame, fork, Campy headset, and   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #372 of 426 |
I may have a change of heart after sleeping on this tonight, but I am listing
for sale my Tommasini Sintesi that has less than 200 miles on it and is as near
new as any actually ridden frame I have ever owned.

This Tommasini Sintesi is painted a gorgeous candy red with bright white decals
and yellow/white decor. The fancy sculpted headtube lugs, fork, seat stays, and
chain stays are all chromed. Tommasini logos are pantographed in the headtube
lugs, brake bridge, top of the seat stays, top of the bottom bracket shell, and
fork crown. The fork is a Tommasini AIR 1" threaded chromed model. My daughter
says this frame is "blinged out", which sounded like a compliment coming from a
12 year old who seldom notices any of my bike stuff.

The frame is fully lugged and built with Columbus Neuron steel tubing. Neuron
tubing was designed specifically for bicycles, and has a great strength to
weight ratio. For more information on Columbus Neuron bike tubing, see:

http://www.kvanproductions.com/cycling/Neuron.htm

The frame measures 56cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the
top tube with a 55.5cm top tube. The short semi-horizontal (no adjusting screws
included) rear drop outs measure 130mm wide, and the head tube is 133mm. The
frame has the rear brake cable routed internally through the top tube, pump peg,
two sets of water bottle bosses, braze-on derailleur tab, down tube shifter
bosses, and an Italian threaded bottom bracket spins in by hand.

This frame and fork are so much more beautiful than pictures can capture. The
condition of this Tommasini is excellent to like-new. The paint is vibrant, and
the chrome on the stays and fork and lugs is shiny and bright. The frame and
fork have been built up and lightly ridden, so there are build marks, but this
is an amazingly nice frameset. The frame and fork have been completely treated
inside the tubes with Boeshield T-9 rust prevention spray.

Includes a Campagnolo Record headset already installed and a Vuelta wheelset
that has less than 100 miles on it.

Lots of pictures available for the asking. $850 for the frame, fork, headset,
and wheelset picked up in McAlester.

Thanks and stay hydrated out there!
