FS: 53/54cm Bianchi Columbus SLX frame, fork, Campy headset, new Bi   Message List

This Bianchi frame measures 53.5cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the
center of the top tube, or 54.5cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the
top of the seat tube, with a 54cm top tube.

This Bianchi frame looks to be fully chromed underneath the beautiful and
world-famous Bianchi Celeste metallic paint. This fully lugged frame was made in
Italy of high-end Columbus SLX steel tubing. It has "Bianchi" and the Bianchi
emblem engraved on the top of the fork crown of this 1" threaded fork.

This frame has braze-on downtube shifter bosses, a pump peg, two sets of water
bottle mounts, rear brake cable housing eyelets on the top of the top tube,
horizontal rear dropouts that measure 128mm wide with threaded eyelets on the
rear Gipiemme dropouts, and a braze-on front derailleur tab. This frameset comes
with a rough Campagnolo headset already installed. An Italian bottom bracket
spins in by hand...very clean and smooth threads!

There are some paint chips on this frame that show the chromed frame underneath.
One of the Bianchi decals is missing on the right side of the seat tube, and the
one on the left side of the down tube is missing also (they started to peel as
happens with many Italian frames and they were removed). There are Campagnolo
decals on both chainstays (they are peeling up some also) and on the headtube.
The chrome on the right chainstay is in very good condition and there are no
dents on the bike. All of the frame tubes and fork legs have been treated with
Boeshield T-9 rust prevention spray.

Sale price of $250 picked-up includes the frame, fork, headset, new Bianchi
Celeste Look-style pedals, and some other bike parts also.

Several pictures available free for the asking.

Have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July holiday!
