Subject: FS: New old stock 56cm Italian-made Daccordi frame and fork
I bought this new old stock, never built up or ridden hand-made Italian frame
and fork to build up and ride myself, but it is just a bit bigger (56cm c-c)
than what I ride (54cm c-c). With beautiful riding weather and tax refunds just
around the corner, this is the opportunity for you to own that special frame you
have always wanted.
This is a beautiful hand-made frameset from one of the legendary Italian frame
builders: Daccordi. To read more about Daccordi, including their history of
frame building since 1937 and a video of how they test their frames, go to this
link
http://www.daccordi-cicli.com/daccordi_eg/home.htm
This is a Daccordi frame with matching Daccordi fork. This beautiful
hand-built frame measures 56cm c-c on the seat tube with a 55.5cm top tube and
150mm head tube length. I can best describe the color scheme as a dusty rose
base with moss green and deep burgundy splatters and black decals. It is truly a
one-of-a-kind custom paint scheme.as noted on the bottom bracket shell a true
"Daccordi Original"!
The frame was made in Italy of Columbus SLX steel tubing. The seat stays and
chain stays are brilliantly chromed. The seat tube lug is curly and has
"Daccordi" pantographed into it. The bottom bracket shell is a Cinelli-like with
"Daccordi Original" and "TNDS" pantographed on it and cable guides built into
it.
There are two sets of water bottle bosses, a brazed-on front derailleur tab
and down tube shifter bosses, and the rear brake cable is routed through the
inside the top tube. The rear spacing is 126mm (but I put a 130mm 9 speed wheel
in the rear dropouts this evening and it fits in easily) and the adjustable rear
horizontal dropouts are Campagnolo (screws included). The fork is 1" threaded
chromed Columbus steel with "Daccordi" and the Daccordi "D" pantographed into
the fork crown.
There are no dings or dents or scratches I could see as this bike is in
wonderful condition! The chrome on the chain stays, seat stays, and fork is
shiny and bright. The frame has been completely treated inside the tubes with
Boeshield T-9 rust prevention spray.
Lots of pictures available even if you just want to look...no cost for them
;-)
$250 picked up in McAlester or Henryetta
