I have just made it a habit that the first thing I do when I am involved in a boo-boo or see one happen(before I  even make contact with anyone) is take down the license plate.  Easier said than done when you're in shock/anger/ unconscoius.

Like a few years ago when I Blow rear-ended that woman (!) over by tonic on a wednesday hash. First thing I took her plate # and then went to see if he was sober.

Seeking rear-end collision witness (yes, Tiny took it in the rear yet again) 1:25 p.m. 12/19/05 Scholl's Ferry between Nimbus & Cascade. Silver Honda Insight hit by maroon sedan.

 

Driver of the maroon sedan was a male, approximately 45 years of age with sandy blond hair and moustache and glasses.

In an effort to safely extract myself from busy traffic and heavily traveled train tracks, I recommended that we exchange information at the Levitz furniture on the corner but of course, the other driver took off before I could get his license plate number, let alone insurance information. Might anyone have seen the incident and managed to retrieve the necessary puzzle pieces?

 

Reward for successful location of hit and run driver.
