Why Facial, that's a very interesting question. Yes there will be a Portland
Marathon Beer Check this year, hosted by the OH3. Since we're
setting up near mile 24 of the marathon route, all those who end up with wicked
hangovers from Saturday's OH3 at Flashdance's (2pm
Start) can sleep in a little more than those crazy racists that start running at
7am... Setup across from the Max station on Interstate at the
Steel Bridge. The one on the west side of the Rose Garden. We should get there
about 9am to taste test and setup. OH3 will provide the
beer and cups, you provide the hands we need to pass out all the beer. Last year
we went through a few cases... This event is a ton of fun,
and no running involved. The looks you get when some exhausted runner grabs a
beer thinking it's water is hilarious, and the
gratefulness of those who have been thinking of beer since mile 0.69 is
unequalled. There may even be down-downs by some of our
racist hashers en route to completing a race that killed it's first
participant... If that isn't shiggy, I don't know what is...
