Wasn't Don Gay the person who won the superstocks in either 1962 or 1963? I can remember when he beat either Nicolson or Strickerl. In either case we lost another great one. May God Bless.

Subject: [NitroGeezers] Add another name to the list

This has not been a good day. Just received word from Houston, Texas, that Don Gay died this morning.

He's survived by his mother, Marie Gay, and two sons, Don, Jr., and Shane. I understand that he had been going "downhill" pretty fast in recent times.

 

Hope this is the last notice for a while.
