I hope it's okay to make this announcement on the list...
I will be teaching a two-day clinic in Eatonville, WA on October
2-3,
2004. The clinic will focus on natural horse care/management,
especially a physiologically correct barefoot trim. Eatonville is
just east of Puyallup and Tacoma, WA.
It is possible for your horse to go barefoot! Barefoot horses
excel
in all performance venues and on the trail. Before you say, "yes,
but..." you owe it to yourself to learn about barefoot horses
firsthand!
I am a certified graduate of the United Horsemanship course in
natural hoof care, and have specialized in critical care and
teaching. I have reference and letters of testimonial available
should anyone desire them.
Day One will include a lecture, discussion and
questions/answers
about natural horse management, a demonstration of a
physiologically
correct trim on a cadaver hoof, ending with a full dissection of
the
cadaver leg. This is incredibly educational and informative for
any
horse owner! There is nothing like actually seeing the internal
structures of the equine leg and hoof to understand how best to
keep
your horse sound for life.
Day Two will be a full day of supervised training and practice
trimming on cadaver hooves with questions, answers and
demonstration
as needed. There will be plenty of time for one-on-one
guidance.
Participants can attend day one only or both days (Day one, or
special permission, is required prior to participating in day two.)
Auditors are welcome. Space is limited, so please make your
reservations soon.
Contact the clinic host, Patti Gann, at pasopatti @ comcast.net
for
pricing, reservations, and further information. (Remove the
spaces
around the @ sign for a working email address.) Or, feel free to
contact me at the email address below with any questions you
may have.
Thank you,
