Hi Paul, thanks for sharing the photos. I have been waiting to get this one of my husband and our half Paso, Cuervo, scanned in so that you could see how much our horse looks like your horse. Unfortunately this photo did not come out very good. I too am looking for the papers and will share bloodline information when I find them. Do you have an e-mail address for Patty O'Rourke? So far we are sound and having a great spring.

I am not ignoring your question about our mare's bloodlines. I just have not gotten around to looking for her papers. Maybe this weekend.

Paul,
Paula was the breeder, and the endurance rider was Jan Zito, also an
owner/breeder of Paso Finos. His name is Milagro del Arco Iris, and has
his very own AERC record - check him out if you get bored. ;-)
I don't know if he's ready for a 50 or not. I'm relatively new at endurance
riding as well, so that why I was hoping for us to hook up sometime before a
ride to figure it out. What criteria do you look for? As I mentioned before,
he's had a few years off, so I want to be cautious, as I'd like to keep him
around as long as I can. :-) He has a wonderful canter, and does love to
charge up them hills. Of course, the "AA" loop over in Molalla (that loooong
hill that goes up to the tree farm) takes the snot out of him, and halfway
through admits he needs a breather and takes time to relax and drink.
He's a good drinker and eater.
Well, let me know what you looked for in your horse before you knew
he was ready for a 50 - I look forward to hearing from you.
Take care,
Tracey
