Hi all,
Thank you Tracey for inviting me to join the group. I have a 5 year
old Icelandic gelding. I will confess that I have never done an
endurance ride. I would love to someday actively participate in the
sport of endurance, but I am not sure that with my life schedule I
can condition my horse to the level required. I think I could get
him to the point of doing the LD rides.
I look forward to chatting about distance riding on gaited horses
with all of you, and hope it's o.k. that I'm here, since I am not
actively riding endurance. I only started riding my Icey this
winter, so we are a season away from even considering a LD ride.
