Is your horse spooky, hard to catch, difficult to saddle or bridle?
Is there some other vice that you would like to fix? Would you like
to have your horse as soft and respectful as those clinicians you
see on TV? This clinic is for you to learn some simple exercises
that will make your every day horse interaction more enjoyable.
There is a 6 part groundwork clinic series starting October 29th in
West Linn, Oregon (few miles south of Portland). The clinic will
cover: Basic Round Pen Exercises, Advanced Round Pen Exercises,
Basic Halter Exercises, Advanced Halter Exercises, Fixing Vices due
to Fear and Fixing Vices due to Disrespect. Come to the clinic for
as little as $20.
The clinic is being taught by Terrie White at Oregon Equestrian
Center. She grew up on the quarter horse circuit, and has gone on
to specialize in the western performance horse. Her recent
background includes Cutting, Reining, Barrel and Roping horses,
however she also has a deep background in Dressage. She has trained
with natural horsemanship clinicians out of Arizona, and is looking
to provide some affordable clinic locally to share these techniques.
