Subject: [NorthwestHorse] Re: [Fwd: horses shot, one dies, need you help]
In case you haven't seen this yet.....
There were two horses shot in Douglas County early Sunday morning at the
corner of Rice Creek and Willis Creek Rd. South of Winston. The
neighbors saw a white pickup or SUV there.
One painted pony horse dies at OSU on Monday from 3 gun shot wounds to
his abdomen and one to his ear, the painted mare is still at OSU trying
to hang onto her life with 3 or 4 bullet holes to her flank area, these
horses were also stabbed with a knife.
There is a $2000.00 reward for apprehension and conviction of suspect
(s). If you have ANY information about this shooting please call the
sheriff's dept. at (541) 440-4463.
Thank you

Adventure isn't hanging on a rope off the side of a mountain. Adventure is
an attitude that we must apply to the day to day obstacles of life -- facing
new challenges, seizing new opportunities, testing our resources against the
unknown and in the process, discovering our own unique potential. --John
