Subject: [NorthWestIron] Meeting
Arrangements have been made to get more publicity for NW Iron in the
Evening Telegraph, on the official web site and on the Iron Union
site. Hopefully, this will boost numbers further. A further logo
design is in production and I am getting a skeleton constitution from
the Iron Union.
What about the vexed question of meeting up? I know that it is not
good for Cumbrian based fans, but Manchester city centre seems to be a
favoured venue. How about a Friday or Saturday evening towards the
end of June/beginning of July in a traditional city centre boozer. We
could formalise arrangements, finalise what we want to achieve, sort
out the constitution, set a modest subscription and bond over a few
beers. I suggest somewhere like The White Lion on Liverpool Road, the
Briton's Protection or The Knott would be good venues. All are close
to tram/train stops. What do you think?
All the best.
