Thanks for all the replies. It looks like The Knott Bar at the end
of Deansgate (near Deansgate Station) is the place for our first
meeting on Friday 29 June. Meet at 8.30p.m. The link shows the

G-Mex tram stop is also very close, so it is pretty accessible. The
plan is for some serious chat about the club and its raison d'etre
over beers and then free form bonding and chat over more beers. The
fixture list will be out by then, so that should help. I look
forward to seeing everyone then and to the beginning of a successful
venture.

It would be helpful if you could email me nearer the time to confirm
attendance and I'll let you have my mobile so that you can track us
down in the event that you're a bit reticent about approaching the
wrong group in the pub. I shall probably wear some distinguishing
item that I'll reveal in due course. (Nothing racy mind).

Finally, apologies to the Carlisle based fans for the venue. We
