I agree with the out of town event.. I think Reno would be good for that as there is some interest from racers up there to join the class. Reno is also a "Destination" and I know one special Lady in my life that would make every effort to help us all out to get there!
As far as the Cross overs go, I know that these races take a little longer to finish BUT there is another positive side to a big crowd and that is VISIBILITY. In other words, large amounts of racers and spectators viewing our class. Like I said, I know the cross over events take longer to finish but it just might be a way to get more folks in the class knowing we race at the bigger events. Just something to think about.
BTW, If anyone is interested I think Brad and I will be getting together this next week to finalize the F200 dates.. I will make an announcement here of when and where we are going to do this so anyone interested can be a part of this. I have attached a list of race dates from our local tracks and Reno so you can get an idea of what we will be working with.

I am in for what Scott, said. I agree. Billy----- Original Message -----From: ScottSent: Saturday, December 08, 2007 8:43 AMSubject: [NorcalF200] Thoughts on schedule for 2008I'm in favor of visiting different tracks. Davis, Dixon, PC, Reno,
Sears Pt, and Thunderhill all sound good to me.
I suggest we avoid the Crossover events for a number of reasons.
Racing at 7:00pm after having arrived at 7:00am is no fun. We will
race at each track anyway. Most importantly, if our goal is to grow
the class, we will have better 1:1 contact with the club members at
their club races. We just need to get the word out to the club that
the NFRA circus is coming to the track on dates X and Y (and Z).
I'm also up for a "drive-away" race - to butcher an F1 expression. A
track that is 2+ hours away could be a fun mini-vacation if the area
has something to offer for the family.
Anyway, just my two bits worth.
