Infineon (2.53 miles) and Thunderhill (2.86 miles) have been
confirmed by the NCK. I'd like to throw out a thanks to the NCK for
making F200 a "Local Option" class in their overall class structure.
This will allow us to run in a couple races this year and hopefully
many races in the future.
So what about some of the details? The NCK offers one day
memberships for $10, or season memberships of $40. Entry fees are
$130/race.
If you don't already have your red card you'll have to start working
on your road racing license. License?? Yes, unless you already have
your red card, you will have to follow this process. First, apply
for your yellow card ($60). Your yellow card is good for 1 year.
If, during that year period, you race in 3 races you may attain your
permanent "red card" which supercedes every other license in the IKF.
Steve is gathering the necessary forms and applications for this
process and will post the info here soon.
After our trip to California Speedway last year for the King Taco
race I'm very excited to do some more road racing. Turnout for these
races looks very positive and what is really cool is it looks like we
get to run with the WF guys. Now doesn't THAT sound like a kick?
