Hope all of you are having a fab summer. A couple of things...
1) The Kahuna Kupuna WANTS YOU this Saturday!
I just heard from Izzy at the Pedro Point Surf Club, the contest co-director for
the Kahuna Kupuna this Saturday 8/15 at Linda Mar. They're low on female surf
contestants (40 & up), so if you're a longboarder or shortboarder, he encourages
you all to sign up!
Thecontest fees have been reduced this year, and finalists will score cool
driftwood trophies. The Kuhuna has always one of my favorite contests, due to
the great vibe and friends & local faces that come out for this. The forecast
is looking decent for waves, and it's always easy to walk away with great raffle
prizes and surfboards. This benefit event supports the groups that help keep
Linda Mar's water cleaner...

Lloyd, Judith Sheridan, Liz Clark and top women ASP pros being shown in
Pescadero Friday night for $5 at 6pm (along with a cool art auction & separate
$60 benefit dinner at 5pm).
