Re: [NorCalWomensSurfClub] Re: Seals are dying

i have a friend who works at the MArine Mammel center, and while I can't quote her, she talked a bit about the seals at a party we were at recently. I think it has something to do with low fish runs lately. She implied it was part of a natural ebb and flow. Like when there is an el nino (?or is it the nina years..) and evrything is flush and happy and low dead animals then.  i'm not a scientist, so don't quote me! but the general feelign i got from her was that it wasn't from a new specific threat.
