Greetings..
My name is Margarita Vargas. i live in san francisco (ocean beach) and I am
writing an article for a site called Tribal Surf. Tribal surf is a site
dedicated to surfers all along the coast, with news and articles to do with
surfing and the people and companies associated with the sport.

My article is about women in the northern california area that
surf...specifically in the bay area. tribal surf's members are predomantly men
and most reside in southern california. what we are trying to do is include
more of northern california and also specifically women who surf in northern
california.

what this is about is getting across to the reader that every shape, size, age,
background, occupation of women surf and get something great out of it. i want
to highlight women of all ages from 5 years old to 80 years old that surf, so
the reader can understand that no matter who you are or what you do or what age
you are, the surfboard and the water and mother nature welcome you.

i am truly excited at the opportunity to do this article as the bay area is my
home and it makes me so proud to see fellow women surfers out there chargin it
and enjoying what surfing gives them!

i have a set of interview questions and plan on photographing each person i
interview to include in this article.
