I just joined and figured I should introduce myself.  I'm fairly new to surfing and the Bay Area - I moved to Oakland to come back to college (Mills). I went to surf camp a couple years ago (surf divas in La Jolla), and it was one of the best experiences in my life.  I've surfed maybe once or twice since then, on account of moving all over (not a lot of surf in Albuquerque). I'm a rower and volunteer rowing coach, and I'm free all summer! Let me know if you feel like letting a beginner tag along sometime, I'm just trying to get back into it.
