Club play day! Come on out for surf, board demos & a big ol' picnic /
bbq. Rather than do a big production Surf Fest this year, we're doing
a club get together to surf, get some contest practice (totally casual
scrimmage), demo some new boards and 'do lunch' via a BYO picnic and
BBQ. We'll start at 900am SHARP and wrap up after lunch around 200pm
or so.

Pro Longboarder Julie Cox will be joining us for this for one of
her "Ride my Board days". That means she's bringing a bunch of her
boards for us to demo!(Julie designs and shapes a line just for women
called the Jule Collection)

We will need some help on coordinating picnic stuff and volunteer
judges (don't wory if you don't have experience, we'll teach you!)

To those of you who've volunteered earlier this year (when we thought
this was gonna happen in Sept), i'll be in touch in hopes you can still
help out.

So put this on your calendar: SUN, OCT 19th @ Linda Mar Beach in
Pacifica, 900am SHARP start...going ti'l around 200pm.

We'll post a meeting place to the list a couple of days before 10/19 so
everybody knows where to find each other. Most likely spot will be
just south of Taco Bell, near the creek.
