Re:surf near puerto vallarta??

hi there,
i would just rent a longboard unless you are like jimmy gamboa or a
crazy noseriding pro...they are a pain to travel with and there are a
ton of boards to rent in sayulita. there area couple places right on
the beach where the break is, there are places to rent roof racks, etc
if you want to travel to surrounding areas...punta mita, etc (30min).
go on http://www.wannasurf.com and i think you can put in sayulita, if
not put in keyword puerto vallarta and a bunch of breaks will come up
and what they are like.
sayulita is a fun party town...great fish tacos on the street, people
hanging out in the square at night...i ran into 3 people i knew from SF
when i was there last year, its a pretty popular place.
we got skunked the first 4 days we were there and then it got pretty
good. fun wave.
have a great time!
