Re: [NorCalWomensSurfClub] Saladita versus Troncones

hey girl
good luck staying out of the tourist stream at either
of these spots. that said, there is no wave at
troncones so I would stay at saladita. it is a nice
mellow wave for longboarding, mellow enough for
beginners in the inside section even on a slightly
large swell. there are a few decent cabanas right on
the beach at salidida owned by a cool mexican woman
(who happens to totally rip) who will cook for you.
don't stay at a gringo owned place.
they also have wax.
thats my advice for better or worse
liz

Saladita is basically nothing but a perfect longboard surf break with a couple of small locally-owned restaurants on the beach. There really isn't a "town"...
