World-1 Results from our debut in Bay City, MI 03/18/06

In front of a crowd of about 300 at Bay City Central High School,
Pro-Wrestling WORLD-1 held its debut show in Bay City, MI this past
Saturday night.

Setting the tone, the stage for future events, the crowd was hot for
the angles, storylines and of course, outstanding in ring ability of
the wrestlers - most of the crowd seeing many of the wrestlers for
the first time.

The action started with Noah Lott leading fellow Dan Severn Dojo
graduates Jack Thriller and Johnny Dynamo out to the ring. Lott cut
a promo stating that Central High School should feel blessed to be
in the presence of greatness - greatness that was trained by Dan The
Beast Severn. Not very Severn like in terms of the bragadocious
style that Lott was using. In any case, after insulting the crowd,
the music of Dexter Poindexter began playing. Dexter hit the ring
and proceeded to have an action packed match with Lott, culminating
in victory for Poindexter - and a 3 on 1 beatdown for his efforts!

As Thriller and Dynamo began beating on Poindexter, Bay City's own
powerhouse Extreme Bull Wheeler and Justin Rhodes made the save for
Poindexter. Rhodes and Wheeler muscled around Thriller and Dynamo,
but in the end, with some "creative cheating," Rhodes was pinned and
the Team Severn crew got the victory.

Up next, Brew City Wrestling's Dinn T. Moore once again challenged
arch rival Dysfunction for his belt. These two proceeded to beat,
kick and punch each other into oblivion. Just when it seemed as
though Dinn T. would get his title back, behind the chants of "Get R
Done" from the crowd, Steve Corino, Ricky Landell and N8 Mattson hit
the ring. While Corino and Mattson distracted the referee, WORLD-1
Champion Landell cracked Moore with the Brew City Title setting up
the victory for Dysfunction.

Corino proceeded to cut a promo about Bay City Central and Central
High wrestling coach Chad Rausch, culminating with Corino alledging
that "everyone knows amateur wrestling is fake." After 10 minutes of
berating the crowd, Corino, Landell and Mattson left the ring to
rousing boos and jeers from the audience.

Next up was a title match for the WORLD-1 Tag Team Championship. The
Dark Horse Greg Spitz and Mr. Mark Mest came to the ring to their
usual taunts from the crowd, making few friends along the way. "God
Of Thunder" hit the speakers and the crowd erupted as Michigan Tag
Team Giants MAYHEM made their way to the ring. In a battle of the
big men, this match was hard hitting action start to finish. Just as
MAYHEM's Chainsaw was about to get the 1-2-3 on Spitz, Mest splashed
Referee Art Mendez, knocking him out. WORLD-1 Official Missy Sampson
ran out of the locker room immediately calling for the bell and
awarding the victory to MAYHEM. MAYHEM took the belts and began to
celebrate with the crowd, only to be reminded by Sampson and the
announcer that titles cannot change hands via Disqualification.
MAYHEM immediately took the microphone and demanded that the WORLD-1
officials book a "Falls Count Anywhere Street Fight" for the titles
down the road - sooner rather than later.

After intermission, two of Bay City's best rekindled a years long
feud. The Mastermind Dave Duponte in all his arrogance cut a promo
on the school, on the town, on the ref and pretty much anyone else
he could think of...until The Viper Pete Christie came out and took
him to school. In the end, however, it was Duponte's cheating ways
getting him the victory over a venomous Christie - no pun intended.
Viper demanded another shot at Duponte, and based on what we've
learned, this could be happening as soon as the next scheduled Bay
City show...more on that in a bit.

The main event took place next, as Corino, Landell and Mattson once
again made their way to the ring. Team Macktion came out next,
consisting of Krazy K Kirby Mack and his brother TJ, both trained by
Matt & Jeff Hardy and certainly capable of matching their talent.
Central High's Coach Rausch came out to a rousing reaction from the
crowd as the Central Fight Song boomed. All participants had a
chance to shine, but it was Corino challenging Rausch to a
traditional wrestling style tie up that helped steal the show. After
Rausch put Corino in move after move, and Corino heading for the
ropes each time, he finally resorted to teasing the wrestling holds
and laying the boots to Rausch, prompting Team Macktion to make the
save, with Krazy K eventually getting the pin on N8 Mattson to
secure victory for The Coach and Team Macktion to the crowd's
delight.

The announcement was made that WORLD-1 would be back on May 20th in
Bay City... with a special one night tournament for the 1st Great
Lakes Openweight Championship. Ring Of Honor's Colt Cabana and Jimmy
Jacobs have already been signed as well as Noah Lott, Dave Duponte,
N8 Mattson...and 3 slots remain. Bull Wheeler is bringing in a
special guest to help him "ENFORCE" some justice on the punks who
stole a victory for him...as Wheeler teams up with C.W. ANDERSON to
take on Jack Thriller and Johnny Dynamo. More matches will be
announced soon.

All in all, Bay City, Michigan proved themselves to be a wonderful
city for professional wrestling and WORLD-1 management simply
couldn't be happier with the people and the turnout...and are
looking forward to coming back in May!
