RESULTS FROM CWF MID-ATLANTIC TV TAPING HELD ON FEBRUARY 18th IN
BURLINGTON, NC

*** Joey Silvia and Trent Wylde attack Ric Converse!!!

The following results are from the CWF Mid-Atlantic TV Taping held
Saturday, February 18th, at the Carolina Sports Arena located
in Burlington, NC. All bouts are sanctioned by the AWA, the American
Wrestling Association.

1. The Street Sweepers (Jay Sinn & Gregory Vercetti) defeated RGL
Champion Ultra Dragon & Alexx Sage by pinfall in tag team action
(6:45)

2. The $outh$ide Playas (J-Money & Will B. Smooth w/Kiyia Moka) &
Brass Munkey defeated the United Nations Of Devastation (Drake
Tungsten & Bad News Johnson) & Tank Lawson w/manager Cornelius J.
Lumpkin III by countout in six-man tag action (9:58)

3. "Rock 'n' Roll" Matty Dee defeated Donnie Dollar$ w/manager Brad
Stutts by pinfall (3:59)

4. Jesse Ortega & Scotty Blaze defeated Noah Lott & The Cuban
Assassin by pinfall in tag team action (15:46)

5. AWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions "A Very Handsome Man" Mitch
Connor & Garry "Madd Trucker" Stevens defeated Roy Wilkins & Joey
Denson by pinfall in non-title tag team bout (6:59)

6. AWA Mid-Atlantic Television Champion Rob "Boogie Woogie Man"
McBride defeated Michael McAllister by pinfall to retain the title
(7:49)

7. AWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion "Slick Diddy" Ric Converse,
Joey Silvia & Xsiris vs. Marcellus King, Julius Augustus, Brandon
Day ruled a NO CONTEST (23:52)

Officials: Charles Richardson, Red Jones & Brandon Barbour

NOTES:

Trent Wylde became involved in the main event after Joey Silvia was
apparently injured and Xsiris was incapacitated. Wylde entered the
ring as Converse was down and nearly out in what had become a 3-on-1
handicap match with all appearances of helping out "Slick Diddy" Ric
Converse. Fans cheered in appreciation as Wylde cleared the ring
with a metal chain wrapped around his fist and as the three
competitors tried to reenter the ring, Joey Silvia hobbled back to
the ring with a chair to even odds. With a celebration of sorts in
the ring, Wylde attacked Converse with the metal chain and rather
than coming to his rescue, Silvia joined in, sitting on the
champion's chest slugging him and yelling "Five years!" Silvia
laughed as he removed his bandages from his knee, revealing that
his "injury" was all an elaborate plan to put Converse in the most
vunerable position.

Silvia and Wylde then attempted to spike piledrive Converse on the
metal chair, but was saved by Xsiris at the last moment. Xsiris had
suffered an illegal piledriver just two weeks ago and was wrestling
still suffering from the effects.

The fans at the Carolina Sports Arena were stunned by the actions
of "The Ticking Time Bomb" Trent Wylde but even more stunned by Joey
Silvia turning his back on longtime friend Ric Converse. The
champion was quite disillusioned and dejected by the actions.

Ric Converse asked Commissioner William L. Cross to reinstate Trent
Wylde in a post-match interview, which Cross agreed to do, to allow
Converse the opportunity to repay Wylde and Silvia for their
actions. Wylde had been suspended indefinitely since January 2005
for a variety of actions that earned him the unofficial nickname
of "The Ticking Time Bomb" from wrestlers in the locker room.
Converse has discovered the cold hard facts that being the Mid-
Atlantic Heavyweight Champion and #1 ranked contender to the AWA
World Heavyweight Title means you don't have many true friends in
this sport.

Exclusive comments from Wylde and Silvia will air soon on television!

GeeStar was injured at the hands of Fatback Enterprises in a sneak-
attack that resulted in manager Brad Stutts, Amber O'Neal & Donnie
Dollar$ stretching Gee out in the ring for a series of impacts to
her knee from a steel chair weilded by "Box Office Draw" Mikael
Yamaha. GeeStar was examined by EMT's in the locker room and
referred to an orthopedic surgeon for further evaluation on Monday.
She definitely will be out of action due to the injuries. However
Commissioner William L. Cross quickly ruled a six-week suspension
for the entire Fatback Enterprises (Stutts, Yamaha, O'Neal &
Dollar$) effective immediately.

UNOD (Drake Tungsten & Hugh B. "Bad News" Johnson) had a parting of
ways during their six-man bout with partner Tank Lawson. Manager
Cornelius J. Lumpkin III had ordered Lawson to strike one of his
opponents with the Canadian flagpole of Johnson, but Lawson instead
broke the pole over the head of Drake Tungsten, much to the delight
of the fans. Lumpkin had bragged about how much better the
international wrestlers were than "southern rednecks" and that
Lawson should learn from the best tonight. Lumpkin nearly found
himself receiving the remains of the flagpole across his own head
until he scurried away. No word from either Lawson or Lumpkin as to
the status of their management contract, but it would appear those
days are numbered.

New tag champs, Garry "Madd Trucker" Stevens & Mitch Connor,
announced that they have deemed The Street Sweepers as the #1
contenders to their titles and that only teams that defeat the
Sweepers will get a shot at the AWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles.
Stevens also announced that "Little Billy" (his wooden billy club)
had returned from his injuries and was now wearing a football helmet
to protect him.

Michael McAllister came up short in all his plots for Saturday
night. Not only was he unable to defeat Rob McBride for the Mid-
Atlantic TV Title, his "hired AWA guns" of Noah Lott and the
dangerous Cuban Assassin did not retire Jesse Ortega as promised.
Ortega surprised everyone when he revealed his mystery partner of
Scotty Blaze. Blaze and the Cuban have a long history and the
stratigic pick of Blaze certainly tipped the scales towards Ortega
for this encounter. While Gemini Kid is supposedly "gone forever"
according to McAllister after burning his face with a fireball in
January, it would appear to some that he may have indeed had a hand
in the appearance of Scotty Blaze.

CWF Mid Atlantic returns to action on Saturday March 11th at
Burlington NC's Carolina Sports Arena for another big TV taping!
