TZW MAKES HISTORY AT THE
MOTOR CITY COMIC CONVENTION ON MAY 14TH.
ThunderZone Wrestling was a major hit at the Motor City Comic
Convention and the fans at the show witnessed history when every
single's and tag team championship changed hands at the show.
The biggest was the end of the 11 month reign for Eddie Venom as the
TZW World Heavyweight Champion as "Prime Time" Tommy Johnson gain
some help from former WWE/WCW Superstar "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan to
become the new champion.
Jerome "Do-It" Pruitt is now the new TZW Tri-County Champion as he
was able to defeat TNA Star D-Ray 3000. Jerome Pruitt went through
20 men in a battle royal at the start of the show to gain the shot
at the champion and made it worth all the effort in become the new
champion.
Josh Abercrombie is now the new TZW Cruiserweight Champion
dethroning former champion "The Syrian Playboy" Brian Shotwell.
Abercrombie then defended his title and retained his title by
defeating Jeff King.
Laura Phoenix and her new financial booker Tom Filsinger have done
it again. They have led The Phoenix Project to there second reign
as TZW World Tag Team Champions be defeating "The All-American Beat
Down Crew" The Bump'N'Uglies.
There were also alot of debuts at the show for TZW as Fans saw such
indy stars at Mr. Meaner, Jamie Coxx, Frankie The Face, "Machine
Gun" Mike Kelly, Noah Lott, Unr8ted, Frank Stein, Gameboy & Former
WWE/WCW Superstar "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan.
