On Saturday, November the 21st, professional wrestling history will come full
circle in so many ways. On that date, New Midwest Wrestling will bring you
NOVEMBER REIGN, which has always been "the biggest event of the year". But this
year, the event has a whole new, larger meaning.

This year, the event eminates from Springfield's Lanphier High School. It will
mark the FIRST time in nearly 20+ years the halls of Lanphier have hosted
wrestling. But when it did, it hosted some of the greatest names to ever grace
the "squared circles". Years ago, grapplers like such legends as "Superstar"
Billy Graham, Pat O'Connor, Harley Race, Dick the Bruiser, "Bruiser" Brody, Nick
Bockwinkel, Jesse "the Body" Ventura, Ernie Ladd, Ken Patera, Bobo Brazil, the
Valiant Brothers, Randy "Macho Man" Savage, and even a young "Nature Boy" Ric
Flair. There was one show, headlined by Dick the Bruiser against , then known
as, "King Kong" Brody, where a rumored 2000 people were turned away as the event
was SOLD OUT! We at New Midwest Wrestling are humbled to share such a building
with a legacy that those men have left. But we have made it our goal that we
will do our BEST to live up to the standards set by those legends.

NOVEMBER REIGN will also be held as the celebration of 10 years for New Midwest
Wrestling. A decade ago a small group of guys decided that it was high time that
independent wrestling be showcased in the Capital City of Springfield. After a
lot of training, a mess of preparation and tenfold of that turned into
dedication to make it work, the very first November Reign was held. Years have
gone by, and New Midwest Superstars have come and gone, but the goal has stayed
the same. And on November 21st, it all heads full circle. Some of the greatest
names in New Midwest Wrestling history will be in attendance in some form or
another, and some will even be wrestling in the "LPC Invitational Legends Battle
Royal". It really is an exciting time to see faces in a New Midwest ring that
have long been missed. So far the following have been signed to the battle
royal: RIP MYSTIC, DANGER DOUG FRAZE, BRADLEY STEPHENS, RON, DREDD WALKER, EARL
GRISSOM, PHILLIP H DEMPSEY, RIAN CRUZ, CHERRY MALONE, RED AND COOP OF THE DRIVE
THRU, JJ TANK, AND BING WESTLAKE. We do plan to keep a few surprises, so that's
not the final list! It'll be great to have the "family" all together for this
momentous occasion at November Reign.

New Midwest Wrestling's NOVEMBER REIGN will play host to some of the biggest
matches in its history. The following is a run down of the rest of the announced
card:

~New Midwest Wrestling Tag Team Championship
(c)IMMOLARE (Ryan Phoenix & Axis) vs. ATTITUDE INC (Guy Smith & Spencer Powers)~

The hottest rising team in New Midwest Wrestling history goes heads to heads
with the most decorated duo in Central Illinois. Phoenix and Axis joined forces
late last year and won the New Midwest Wrestling Tag Team Championships right
off the bat. Their chemistry is unparalleled. With Ryan Phoenix's fiery force
and the quiet storm of Axis, NO ONE TEAM has been able to derail their hot
streak. But that could all end when they put their championships on the line
against two men who are not unfamiliar with New Midwest gold. With a number of
heavyweight championships between them, both Guy Smith and Spencer Powers have a
resume as long as the straps themselves. Since combining their efforts and
joining the Tag Team Revival Initiative, the team of Attitude Inc climbed the
ladder, waited their turn, and are completely up to the task of what promises to
be Match of the Year.

~Martial Law Match~
Scotty Cash vs. Justin MacIntyre

It's the worst kept secret in New Midwest Wrestling. When Scotty Cash wants to
get under someone's skin, it will happen. Only this time, the skin belongs to
the boss. New Midwest Wrestling Promoter Justin MacIntyre, who is known for his
own antics, may have finally met his match. Like two stubborn bulls, these two
men have bickered back and forth. And when push came to shove, it was Scotty
Cash that grabbed the upper hand, when he cost MacIntyre his Number One
Contender's seat for November Reign. Without hesitating, MacIntyre made the
match between him and one of New Midwest's longest mainstays, Cash. Naming the
match "MARTIAL LAW", MacIntyre decreed that "anything goes" and the only way for
one to win the match is by knockout or submission. Scotty Cash is no stranger to
"No Rules", but so is our fearless leader. This is shaping up to be one of the
hardest hitting fist fights in New Midwest history.

~Central Illinois Championship - Double Jeopardy Match~
(c)Billy Morgan vs. CJ Esparza vs. Catalyst Cory Carter vs. Toga Steve

Four hungry men. One Central Illinois Championship. One Crazy match. The Double
Jeopardy Match is a mini-tournament in one match. Two matches happen in the ring
at the same time and the winners of those falls go directly on to face each
other. The winner will be declared Central Illinois Champion. But who will it
be? The defending champion, Billy Morgan is ready to cement himself as the
fighting champion. The conniving sneak, TripC is one step closer to becoming a
true power player. TOGA Steve is ready for the chance to take back a title he
once never drank a beer without. And former champion, CJ Esparza is still
seething and hungry to hold the proof that he is the best wrestler in Central
Illinois.

~Final Career Match
Sage Ramsey vs. Dareian Frost~

It's been no secret that, local legend, Sage Ramsey's wrestling career has been
hampered by injuries as of late. And no surprise that it's his foes that pick
them apart. What really shocked the foundation was when it was Ramseys own
protege, Dareian Frost, declared that HE be the man to put the nail in the
coffin. Sage, reluctantly agreed to their match at November Reign, and will have
to step toe-to-toe with the man he brought up in New Midwest. Destined to make a
name for himself, with the backing of The Role Model, Steven Bishop and the
S.I.N. Club, Frost has his biggest challenge to date. Will Sage Ramsey come out
on top in what he promises is his last active wrestling match?

~Risk vs. Reward~
Michael Shard vs. Eric Logan

Last year at November Reign, it was these two men who were wittled down in the
first ever RISK VS REWARD MATCH. One man going on to a title opportunity; the
other banned from all title contention for two years. This time around, Eric
Logan has a slight chance at redemption. Should he beat Michael Shard, the
remaining year of his Title Shot Ban will transfer over to the outspoken member
of Attitude Inc. Also, Logan will be next in line for a title opportunity of his
choosing. But if he loses the match, New Midwest Wrestling will tack another TWO
years to his ban. This one is definitely RISK vs REWARD, to be sure!

~Teacher vs Student~
Bobby Houston v Dan The Man

Everyone's Favorite Superhero has captured the hearts and imagination of the New
Midwest Fans in the short amount of time he's been in New Midwest Wrestling. But
he'll face his tallest task as of yet in his career when he takes on the
returning Prime Time Player, Bobby Houston! Houston has traveled the world and
honed his craft. He's a smart cookie. He has taught DTM everything DTM knows.
But has he taught DTM everything that Bobby Houston knows..? We'll see.

~New Midwest Wrestling Heavyweight Championship Main Event~
Jon Magnus (c) w/Stephani King vs Benz

At First Blood, in April, the New Midwest Championship was literally stolen from
Benz. And after months and months of ducking and dodging, Champion Jon Magnus
will atone for his sins. This is a classic case of the unstoppable force meeting
the immovable object. Magnus, a mountain of a champion, could prove too much for
Benz to handle, and that's even before you factor in Magnus' associate, Stephani
King, into the mix. At this time last year, Benz was the defending champion, but
this year, he's got nothing to lose and everything to prove. To himself. To the
fans. And to the unbreakable Jon Magnus.

So, be sure to attend the biggest event in New Midwest Wrestling or Midwest
Wrestling history in general, when we invade Springfield, Illinois' Lanphier
High School, Saturday, November 21st, 2009. Visit www.newmidwest.com for all
your ticket info!
