Hi folks—Jim Conner here....rode out the hurricane on the boat in
port. Pretty interesting, not much sleep for two days, but the
mighty Hawksbill came through it without a scratch!

To celebrate, we're going diving!! What could be more appropriate?

This Sunday, diving fanatic Jim Dyke has organized a THREE tank
trip. Two dives on the Gill, and one on the Hyde. Marine forecase
is excellent. This should be great! Sounds like a long day, but
actually, because it's not a long trip to the Gill, and we'll use the
second surface interval to travel back to the Hyde, it's no longer a
day than a two dive trip to the Tower or the City of Houston. As
always, sign up on line. We're limiting it to 12 divers because of
the extra tanks, and only 4 spots left.

Saturday's trip is the Ocean Conservancy Reef Cleanup trip to the
Hyde and Markham. Good chance to give back to the ocean. However,
perhaps because people are waiting out the hurricane, signups are
very light. Need a few more to make the minimum.
