By now I would expect most of you have been on the bike for a few
months and have started doing some serious rides. We had a good set
of nights for the Tuesday / Thursday rides out of the former High
Caliper. No rain yet.

I would suggest everyone review the posted articles in the file
section of this group. They have been there for a while, but are all
still relevant.

Also, if you plan to do either the official double date, or the rain
date, then please post something to that effect and at what speed you
think you will do it at. Remember, 15 mph is about as slow as you can
go and still complete by dark. A 17 mph pace is a fairly fast pace
for an individual or small group. 18 and above will require a group
that works together doing pace lines and the like to keep the speed up
and the draft so you can rest.
