Dear Jordan,
I was so excited today to hear that Lance Armstrong called you!!!!!! And,
so many of your e-mails ending in " go Lance" Boy, who would of thought it?
There is certainly something to be said about the "energy" that comes from
"believing". And let us not leave out the "loving" which is what we all
have for you. I am forwarding this to our many good friends.
We have raised over 6000 dollars for cancer research and I believe that we
will reach our 8000 dollar goal. I have 1300 miles left to ride to get to
my goal of 8000 miles by December 31st, and I expect
it to be about as hard as the 6700 I've ridden so far. Considering that
November and December are months when cyclists turn to cross country skiing,
a much warmer sport in the winter then riding a bicycle! Thankyou Jordan
for being so strong for us. I am sure you are helping everyone else as much
as you are helping me. Go Lance, Go Jordan!

Subject: Update - Lance Armstrong


Hello everyone.

Just wanted everyone to know that I just got off the phone with Lance
Armstrong.

Through the efforts of my father and some family connections, we were able
to
make contact with him. He called me from Hawaii this morning. We talked
about struggling through chemo and the importance of keeping positive
mentally. He stressed how crucial it is to have belief in your recovery and
faith in your doctors. When you're down use it as a benchmark and know
things can only improve from there. Talking with him gave me an incredible
boost of energy. I'm as giddy as a 13 year old girl at an N'Sync concert.

For me it was a tremendous thrill. He is after all my hero and my
inspiration.

I'm doing pretty well just fighting a cough and the fatigue that comes with
chemo.

My Reed-Sternberg cells are growing in a petri dish as we speak. It may
become one of a handful of cultured Hodgkin's disease cell lines in the
world, allowing them to do lab research which may make Hodgkin's disease a
thing of the past. I hope to make such a contribution to the world and the
future of cancer research. That would be cool.

My record is finished and on the way to be reproduced. Copies will be
available for sale at the benefit November 4th, and shortly thereafter
online
at the label's website. I'll send out all the info when it is ready. Hope
to see you all November 4th. Should be fun.
